Definitions and terminology for construction stormwater
- Land grading - reshaping the ground surface to planned grades as determined by engineering survey evaluation and layout
- Lot benching - the grading of lots within a subdivision so that the runoff from each lot is directed to a stable outlet rather than to an adjacent lot.
- Trackout - dirt, mud or other debris tracked onto a paved public road by a vehicle leaving a construction site.
