An infiltration practice is proposed for a site having known contamination. Even though the practice is proposed for the northeast corner of the site, where there is no contamination or history of contamination, infiltration is not recommended at this site. In addition to the on-site contamination, there are several features on the site that represent potential concerns, including debris, monitoring wells, stained soils, odors, and soil piles. If infiltration is pursued, a Phase 1 or Phase 2 investigation is warranted.
