Nonstructural stormwater practices are typically not permanent, physical devices or structures but implementation of these practices reduces pollutant loading. Examples include street sweeping, pollution prevention, education, impervious surface disconnection, and illicit discharge disconnection. Pollutant reductions for many of these practices cannot be easily quantified.
