- Goal: Participants will learn how to use the Estimator to estimate pollutant loading with and without best management practices.
- Prerequisite
- Have the Simple Estimator downloaded on your computer - File:MPCA simple estimator version 3.0 March 5 2021.xlsx
- Basic familiarity with the Simple Estimator. If you are not familiar with Estimator, see link below.
- Format: Participants work on problems using the Estimator. Hands-on interactive format. Participants report out after working on problems. Class size limited.

MIDS Calculator - Introduction
- Goal: Participants will learn how to use the Minimal Impact Design Standards (MIDS) Calculator to estimate runoff volume reduction and pollutant loading with and without best management practices.

- Format: Participants work on problems using the MIDS Calculator. Hands-on interactive format. Participants report out after working on problems. Class size limited.

MIDS Calculator - Intermediate
- Goal: Participants will work on more advanced problems using the Minimal Impact Design Standards (MIDS) Calculator
- Prerequisite
- Have the MIDS Calculator downloaded on your computer link to download
- Have taken the Introduction course or be familiar with the learning goals described above for the Introductory training
- Format: Participants work on problems using the MIDS Calculator. Hands-on interactive format. Participants report out after working on problems. Class size limited.
- Learning goals
- Become familiar with individuals bmps
- Model a site with multiple bmps
- Model sites where specific performance goals are difficult to meet
- Learn ways to incorporate non-standard practices (e.g. street sweeping) or site characteristics (variable emcs) into the calculator
MIDS Calculator updates - Version 4
The Minimal Impact Design Standards (MIDS) Calculator has been updated to Version 4. This one hour webinar will provide a summary of the changes from Version 3 of the calculator.
