Welcome to the Minnesota Stormwater Manual wiki website. The wiki format provides several useful features to users of this manual. While navigating the website should be intuitive, here are a few tips.

  • For the most part we remained true to the old Manual content. When we came across an obvious needed change, like a misspelling or a dead link, we made the change. But our main goal was to populate the wiki with the old manual material. Thus, some of the information will be outdated, as it was in the old Manual. We’ll eventually be getting back to all the old Manual material and updating it as appropriate.
  • We have developed guidance on how to use this website and the Manual. Not all of this guidance is yet complete, but we continue to work on it. For long-time manual users we have a section called Quick guide that links content from the old Manual to its location in the wiki.
  • We have restructured the Table of Contents. Nearly all the old manual material is there, but it may have moved around.
  • Let us know what you think, or send us suggested changes or corrections. We realize there will be errors as a result of the migration process. Tell us about them. Use the Comment Box at the bottom of each page.
  • Some sites are under construction or under review. In addition, there are alert boxes scattered throughout the wiki. We hope these will be useful.

Most of all, dig in and move around within the wiki. Click on images. Use the links. Utilize the left toolbar. And let us know what you think.
